Help wanted
July 1, 2012 by Bill
I am a spiritual scholar, and a writer. I work with words, and love it and the influence, power and magic that words carry.
Our goal with this website has been to use the magic and power of words to right the wrongs of an eon of misrepresentation regarding religious history and the truths that have been buried. The average person has not had access to the many surprising historical truths that we present in these inspiring lectures and columns, such as the fact that the first six presidents of the United States were not Christians – they were Deists and Humanists and were against the church being involved with government. This is the kind of information that is just not taught in our schools and universities.
Now we need your help. We are looking for someone to post my columns on the website. You, of course, do not even need to live in this area. You could live in Montana or Timbuktoo. I send the columns to you weekly by email, and you take it from there, posting them on the website, perhaps with an interesting image.
A passable knowledge of WordPress and the rudiments of Photoshop is an advantage but the posting of the weekly columns is very simple.
Our focus is to present knowledge, provide insight into the nature of spiritual authenticity, and encourage the reader to think for yourself and form a centered, rational, informed perspective on spirituality and religion.
Martin Luther King, Jr. once used a phrase in a sermon that said it all:
“A time comes when silence is betrayal. Even when pressed by the demands of inner truth, the human spirit moves with great difficulty against all the apathy of conformist thought. But we must speak, we must break the silence of the night, we must speak.”
At this volatile time in our political history, it is more urgent than ever to buck the tide of ignorance that has been thrown in our path by those with a strong agenda to keep the truth covered up. We need to keep the dialogue of enlightenment going.
We get fulfilling and enriching responses from all over the United States, and other parts of the world, proving the need for this kind of stimulating conversation. We have received letters from as far away as Paris and New Zealand. I personally read them and respond as time allows.
If you are interested in contributing to religious literacy and spreading spiritual insight, and taking over this much needed position, please email us at edelen1234@gmail.com
